JOB EXPERIENCE
2015 / Autumn Semester: I observed and learnt how school counseling service works in Marmara
College (Primary School Internship).
2016 / Autumn Semester: Educational Psychodrama Implementations in Anakalbi Kindergarten
as intern.
2017 / 2018 Autumn & Spring Semester: Psychological Counseling Internship under the roof of
the class, called Individual Counseling Practice. I offered psychological counseling the client
through 23 sessions. They were supervised by the lecturer, psychotherapist.
2018 / Spring: I was doing intern with patients who have mid-onset Alzheimer disease according
to Kohut’s theory in terms of self-object functions. Before the internship, I took a class about
Alzheimer disease, patients and their relatives’ needs as well. I work through their own personal
history, significant others in their lives, how their long-term memory they can recall impacts on the
present moment, their affection, mood, and short-term working memory.
2018 / Spring: I was doing internship in Psychological Counseling Service at two different Primary
Schools.
2018 / Spring: I was a part of a mixed methods research project about Society Service Practice
Lecture and Mezirow’s Adult Learning Theory. As a group, we managed and concluded it. Through
the project process, I learnt and practiced how to conduct a research project.
2018 / Summer (Three months): I was trainee in order to gain some therapeutic / counseling skills
at St. Panteleimon Medical Center in Bulgaria. I saw clients within the frame of therapy sessions.
During the time that I stayed in Bulgaria, once I visited a Turkish village that has some

disadvantage and woefully inadequate facilities. I worked as a volunteer psychological counselor
with teenagers and children from Stambolovo Municipality. I provided training to the teenagers for
their social skills, emotional regulation, self-awareness, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. In
addition, I gave a developmental psychology lecture about the periods of young, middle, and elder
adulthood to first grade students in Department of Education and Social Sciences at Trakia
University.
2019 / Summer: I worked on a project about adult education as a research project assistant at
Maltepe University. I did many interviews with participators and then collected and analyzed the
data, conducted literature reviews. I attended the project meetings and summarized the project
results.
